Christmas in Fulham

Christmas was a big affair at the Edlins home in Fulham in the 1920’s and 1930’s,.  They had a Tree, Stockings, Presents and a Turkey Dinner.  They got their presents after lunch.  The boys got one big present such as a meccano set and several smaller ones too.   One year Betty remebers she got a new doll with clothes knitted by her Aunty.  Sugar Mice were also popular.
